SEA
SURVIVAL
The 1998 Sydney To Hobart Yacht Race Coronial Inquest
demonstrated that even experienced yachtsmen stand a greater
chance of survival when they have training in personal
survival techniques. Designed for both racing and cruising
sailors who venture offshore in both power and sail driven
vessels.

MARINE
FIRST AID
What we learn in basic first aid courses is just sufficient
to stabilise a patient until the ambulance arrives usually
within eleven minutes for capital cities. At sea the minimum
response time for a Medivac is three hours (usually longer).
Sailors need to know more!!

RADAR

skills as a crew or learn before you buy.

it stops. Designed for the absolute beginner this course
is very hands on in our workshop before we go afloat to
work on a real diesel engine. Small groups with maximum

VHF (short range) MF/HF (long range) and SATCOM C (satellite

world. We can train you in the use of the latest equipment
and supervise the ACA exam which will result in the issue
of this internationally accredited license.

RECREATIONAL
SHIPS DRIVERS LICENSE
From September 2005 the master of any recreational vessel
with an engine greater than six HP (4kw) in Queensland
must hold a marine drivers license issued by the Queensland
